ROGER NEWBURY, JR.
Managing Director / Patient Advocate
Founder of Legend Consulting Group, Roger plays a crucial role in developing and cultivating the success of the business. With a deep understanding of the challenges facing healthcare providers, Roger provides expertise, passion and creativity to each project. He brings that same focus when evaluating new and innovative products meant to elevate the patient experience. Roger maintains over 30 years of executive level experience and a solid network of industry leaders. Clients are privy to these key connections, and insight into operations and revenue enhancement.
Roger has built and managed over fifteen different facilities with annual revenues in excess of $300 million dollars.
LOU GORGA
Senior Consultant
Lou Gorga is extremely experienced in operations, coaching and process improvement. He has extensive knowledge with for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals and with independent laboratories. Lou is a Lean Six Sigma advisor, and a certified Master Black Belt expert in process improvement techniques. This result-oriented collaborator has owned and run a successful healthcare organization for the past 15 years. Prior to this, he held numerous executive level positions with some of the country’s largest and most recognized healthcare organizations. Lou assists our clients in making proper decisions with efficiency and profitability tools.
SANDRA MARTIN
Senior Consultant
Sandra comes to us after much success in selling LIS and RCM tools. She has national and international experience selling digital pathology services within the healthcare arena. Sandra brings over 20 years of experience with both physician and hospital sales. Sandra currently oversees our west coast business, with potential international management opportunities.
CRIS RAGUSA
Business Analyst
Cris Ragusa brings over 20 years of industry experience in a variety of roles. His exceptional skill set includes strategizing key business and customer relationships, operations and sales, and in-depth knowledge of industry technology.
DR. DAVID NOVIS
Technical Director
Dr. David Novis is an Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist. For over 30 years Dr. Novis served as Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medical Director for two community hospitals, two high tech laboratory clinical laboratories, a private regional medical laboratory, and provided medical expertise for Lab Corp Inc. He has the knowledge our clients need from both a business and technical standpoint.
Dr. Novis earned his MD degree at the University of Vermont and trained in Pathology at the University of California, San Francisco.

Technical advisor, John Rhodes brings over 30 years of experience, with expertise in business development and laboratory efficiency. John's focus and experience includes LEAN workflow systems and automation processes in the core laboratory. John has presented at numerous national and international conferences, and authored white papers on current workflow related topics.
KIMBERLY HODNET
Business Analyst
Kim brings over 20 years of business, medical marketing and organizational training to the organization. For the past 15 years she has been providing marketing and business leadership to Covidien . She is also Co-Founder of the CT Brain Tumor Alliance. Kim and Cris Ragusa are responsible for the review of assessments, verifying key recommendations and providing Account Management to our clients.
